SCleaner plans moves for loose files directly inside Desktop, Downloads, Documents and the folders you allowed. Files go into category subfolders of the same folder, for example Downloads/Images. Photos and videos are also sorted by year.
- Your existing subfolders are not changed.
- If a file with the same name already exists, the moved file gets a “(2)” suffix. Nothing is overwritten.
- You can untick any move before confirming.
On Mac, Rules… lets you add your own rules (for example, “PDFs with ‘invoice’ in the name → Documents/Invoices/{year}”). Rules are checked before the default sorting.
